While the majority of the look and feel of your website is predetermined by the template layout and CSS files, many actions (like inserting images, aligning content left or right, etc.) are controlled within the content box being created. There are two modes of editing this content -- Basic and Advanced.
When you navigate to "Edit & Manage Website" and Create New or Edit Existing page, you will see a gray bar with Edit Mode: [ Basic / Advanced ] near the top of the page. Select the option you prefer. Your selection will be maintained throughout the rest of your session in the admin panel, but you can switch modes at any time by clicking the other link (highlighted blue) in the gray bar.
If you choose Basic, a toolbar similar to Microsoft Word will appear in the content box which offers similar WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) functionality in editing. The advanced mode requires the user to know some basic html tags. For users with basic html skills, this method provides more flexibility and control of the content.
